STORYLINE ONLINE

This website (storylineonline.net) is a great resource for teachers! It has amazing stories online.

The best part is- the stories are read by celebrities (kids love this!).

When do I use Storylineonline?

• For my read aloud time (no not every day!). Sometimes it is good for the class to hear a story from a different voice. I like to change it up sometimes and put a storyline online story on for the read aloud instead of me reading another one.

• For snack time- sometimes I put a story on while my students eat a quick snack.

• As a center during reading- I allow my students to use storylineonline.net as the computer or iPad center during reading! They love this!

• At the end of a long day- students wind down with a great story at the end of the day while I get the classroom cleaned up.

• At home- Sometimes I assign a storyline online story for homework!
