Hello & Welcome to Technology First!
My name is Kari Ogg and I am an elementary school teacher! Also, I am a mom to a 2 month baby girl, Gracie Lynn! Also, I am a masters student at American College of Education, aka "ACE". Currently, I am in my last courses at ACE and you are visiting my capstone project.
For my capstone project, I have to create an original work. So, I've decided to create Technology First, where I write to educate and collaborate with other teachers on ideas and benefits of technology in elementary, specifically 1st grade.
My main audience is for my first grade team in my school where I teach, J.C. Mitchell Elementary school. However, I know technology and social media can reach people all throughout U.S. So, everyone is welcome!
I hope my writing on technology and elementary education can impact teachers around the World and can impact thousands of students!
